“Free assessment” can sound a little vague, or worse, like a sales pitch waiting to happen. So let’s clear that up. When we come to your home, we’re there to listen and to understand, not to talk you into anything. Here’s what the visit actually looks like.
We start by listening
Before anything else, we want to hear from you and your loved one. What’s going well? What’s gotten harder lately? What would make daily life feel easier or safer? Family usually knows more than they give themselves credit for, and those details matter.
We take a look around
With your okay, we’ll walk through the home to notice the practical stuff: tricky stairs, a slippery bathroom, a throw rug that catches a foot, lighting that could be better. Small changes here often head off bigger problems later.
We talk through the care itself
Then we get specific. How many hours might help? Which days? Is this mostly companionship and a hand around the house, or is skilled nursing part of the picture? We’ll also go over how payment could work, whether that’s Medicaid, private pay, or some mix of the two.
You decide what’s next
At the end, you’ll have a clear, honest picture of what care could look like and what it would cost. Then it’s your call. Some families are ready to start that week. Others want time to think, or to talk it over with siblings. Both are completely fine.
There’s no fee for the visit and no obligation to move forward. If you’re even a little curious, it’s worth doing. Call 469-826-0060 to set one up.
